ARTIST STATEMENT

I discovered my artistic form based on my surroundings and occurrences in life such as landscapes, cultures, society, and the story of where I came from.  As a Buddhist I believe in the incredible power and beauty of nature and the cycle of life and death that is never ending. I want to continue to show my love of Canadian landscape but also incorporate my parts of heritage and art upbringing with Asian ink lines, power of gold pigment and Buddhist philosophy.
